NT RCMP investigate two-vehicle collision in Yellowknife

A supper hour accident yesterday involving two vehicles in Yellowknife is under investigation by the NT RCMP.

Julie Plourde is the Media Relations Officer with the Northwest Territories RCMP in Yellowknife, NT.

“At 6:00 p.m., the RCMP attended a motor vehicle collision in the area of Old Airport Road and Borden Drive,” Plourde said. “Two vehicles were involved in the collision. There is no known injury among the people involved in the incident.”

Traffic in the Northbound lane was backed up to the Independent due to a lane reduction as crews cleaned up the scene.

“The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid yet,” Plourde said.
