City of Yellowknife opens Community Programs Survey

The City of Yellowknife is asking residents to share their opinions on the future of local recreation with the 2026 Community Programs Survey.

This feedback will help the city develop new recreation programs and improve existing ones, as well as ensure they align with the community’s needs, interests, and schedules.

Some of the programs the city currently offers include youth sports, aquatic lessons, day camps, and training courses for babysitting and first aid. These programs all help residents stay active, build new skills, and create community connections.

Sharing your input can help the city identify which programs Yellowknifers are excited about and what new opportunities residents want to see, as well as help remove barriers to participation.

The survey can be found here and is open until April 15, 2026.
