The Government of the Northwest Territories is celebrating the first annual Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day in the territory today.
This is a chance to recognize, thank, and celebrate the dedicated professionals who work to provide support to children and families across the NWT.
Early childhood educators help children grow, make connections to their community and culture, and create positive, joyful and enriching learning environments that can have a lifelong impact on children.
The GNWT says they are committed to providing support for early childhood educators through programs, funding, and professional development opportunities.
“Celebrate the early childhood educators in your community today, and every day,” said the GNWT in a press release.
