The City of Yellowknife has announced the hours for a number of City facilities and services on the Labour Day holiday.
The Fieldhouse and Multiplex will both be open from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm on the holiday. The ATCO Aquatic Centre will be open for lane swim from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and be open for public swim from 1:00 pm till 5:00 pm.
The Visitor Information Centre will be open from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm on Labour Day.
City Hall, the Solid Waste Facility, the Yellowknife Community Arena, and the Yellowknife Public Library will all be closed on the holiday. YKTransit, including YKFlex, will also not be operating on that day.
Garbage collection, trucked water, and sewer pumpout services will all be operating on their normal schedule on Labour Day.
The City has also announced that City Hall will be resuming its fall/winter operating hours on September 8, being open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
