Folk On The Rocks and its Executive Director nominated for 2026 Live Music Awards

Yellowknife’s Folk On The Rocks music festival and its Executive Director Teresa Horosko have been nominated for awards at the 2026 Live Music Awards.

“We’re incredibly honored to be recognized alongside so many inspiring festivals and industry leaders from across the country,” said Horosko.

Folk On The Rocks has been nominated for Small Festival of the Year, in recognition of its position as one of Northern Canada’s most beloved music festivals, as well as its continuing commitment to showcasing talent and bringing communities together.

Executive Director Teresa Horosko has been nominated in the Your Future Boss category, which celebrates innovative leaders who are helping to shape the future of live music. Folk On The Rocks says that Horosko’s leadership has been a key factor in the festival’s continuing growth and success.

“These nominations reflect the dedication of our entire team, our volunteers, artists, and the community that continues to support Folk On The Rocks year after year,” said Horosko.

The Live Music Awards will take place on May 6, 2026, at the Bluma Appel Theatre in Toronto.
