Yellowknife Community Showcase this week

The Yellowknife Community Showcase is being held this week, giving participants a chance to meet and interact with various groups in Yellowknife.

Non-profit organizations, clubs, and other community groups will all be at the free event to show off the variety of recreational, leisure, and community opportunities available in Yellowknife.

Visitors will be able to meet with and ask questions of the organizations, potentially finding a new hobby, sports club, or volunteer opportunity to help them get more involved with their community.

Among the groups at this year’s showcase are the Yellowknife Gymnastics Club, Skills NWT, Home Base Yellowknife, the Polar Bear Swim Club, and the YK Seniors Society.

The showcase will be held in the DND Gym at the Yellowknife Multiplex on September 10, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The event is free and open to everyone.
