Two suspects have been arrested by Yellowknife RCMP following the execution of a search warrant as part of a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation.
In August, police say they began an investigation into an apartment on 52 Avenue based on information received from the public.
On September 1, police were able to obtain a search warrant for the apartment, the search of which resulted in the seizure of over $34,000 in cash and approximately 53 grams of suspected crack cocaine.
Two suspects were arrested without incident and charges with a number of trafficking and possession charges. Both appeared in court and have been remanded into custody.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
