With the Wrigley evacuation order being downgraded to an alert as of July 29, the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority has released their plans for reopening the Wrigley Health Centre.
Emergency services for the community will resume on July 31, with full services at the Wrigley Health Centre planned to be resumed on August 4.
During emergency service, residents will be able to call 911 in case of an emergency, or the Fort Simpson Health Centre which will be coordinating with the team in Wrigley in the case of an emergency.
For non-emergency health needs before the centre is reopened, residents can reach out to the Fort Simpson Health Centre during their normal operating hours or call 811 to speak with a registered nurse.
Up-to-date information about the resumption of services in Wrigley can be found online at the GNWT’s public safety page.
